SPINAL STENOSIS

Spinal stenosis is a gradual thinning of the spine. There can be several different reasons for this condition to occur but the most common is osteoarthritis of the spine or spinal joint degeneration.  This condition can occur in areas of the spine that have been affected by previous trauma or injury or during the natural aging process.  Because the spinal column protects the spinal cord and nerves of the spine, this gradual thinning can have detrimental affects on the nervous system. Many patients who suffer from spinal stenosis suffer from a number of painful symptoms:

Low Back Pain
Sciatica
Joint Pain and Stiffness
Peripheral Neuropathy
Numbness, Tingling, Hot & Cold Sensations in Legs or Feet
